pH down for your feeding water

Gen200 pH- lowers the pH of the feeding water to the ideal range for nutrient uptake. It is based on food-grade phosphoric acid and can be used with every nutrient line.

The pH of your feeding water decides how well plants can take up the nutrients you give them. Gen200 pH- lowers the pH of the feeding water to the ideal range. It contains 59% phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄) of food-grade quality, which provides your plants with phosphate in its purest form.

Directions for use

  1. First add all fertilisers and additives to the water.
  2. Wait at least 5 minutes and measure the pH.
  3. Add Gen200 pH- in small amounts, mix and measure again until the target pH is reached.

Which pH to aim for depends on your growing medium and growth stage. The Rhodos feeding schedule gives the pH targets per phase for soil, coco and hydroponics.

Mixing order

  1. Start with clean water and add Gen200 Control first.
  2. Add your base nutrients (for example Rhodos Base, Grow or Bloom) and the Gen200 additives you use.
  3. Wait at least 5 minutes, measure the pH and adjust with Gen200 pH- as the last step.

Safety and storage

Warning: causes severe skin burns and eye damage (H314). Wear protective gloves and eye protection. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Keep out of reach of children and store below room temperature.

Works with every nutrient line

The Gen200 additives are not tied to one fertiliser brand. You can combine them with Rhodos powder nutrients, with Gen200 Control or with any other nutrient line, in soil, coco and hydroponics.

The original OSA (Si(OH)₄) formula

Gen200 was launched in 2012 with the introduction of Control, the Original OSA (Si(OH)₄) Formula. Conceived for the indoor cultivation of flowers and fruit, the benefits of our proprietary orthosilicic acid recipe were quickly embraced by home growers as well. Gen200 Control supplies silicon as stabilised orthosilicic acid (Si(OH)₄), which plants take up directly. Silicon strengthens the cell walls, for firmer stems and leaves and better tolerance of heat, cold and drought.
