GEN200 Control is a proprietary biomix of natural micro-elements supplemented with ortho silicic acid. GEN200 Control ensures the regulation of the growth of the plants and their natural defence system. This ensures that the plants are more resistant against diseases and distresses such as extreme heat and cold. Your plants will root faster, develop stronger stems and leaves, which will result in firmer plants and bigger yields. GEN200 Control can be used on all kinds of soil and with all kinds of nutrition.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Always add GEN200 Control to the feeding water, before adding other nutrients. Add 15 ml per 100 liter of feeding water with every watering session. If used as a foliar spray, apply 1 ml per liter of water.

Farmers can save money by using GEN200 Control, because of the decreased importance of the use of insecticides, fungicides and pesticides. Higher yield and better quality of products with increased shelf life due to better water retention in fruits and vegetables is another advantage.

Using GEN200 Control to control the height of plants

Silicon uptake by plants strengthens cell walls and improves stiffness in the plants’ epidermis. Because of this, the use of GEN200 Control can be effective in controlling the vertical growth of plants. By feeding the plants increased doses of GEN200 Control, they will get elevated levels of silicon in their system.

The physical effects this silicon has on the cell walls and outer layers of the plant prevent the plant tissue from stretching. The result is shorter plants, with decreased internode length and a multitude of side branches. Be careful not to increase the dosage too high. For most vascular plants, a dosage of 1:4000 is enough to significantly limit the vertical stretch. For young plants, a dilution ratio of 1:5000 may be effective as well.

Look for signs of overdosing by testing the flexibility of the leaves. If the leaves break upon touching, the silicon levels in the plant are too high.

The ‘silicon paradox’ in agriculture is the contrast between the large quantities non-absorbable silicon compounds (such as silicon dioxide, SiO2) and the very low concentrations of absorbable silicon molecules (such as silicic acid Si(OH)4). So it is not about the amount of silicon in the soil, but about the amount of bioavailable (mono-) silicic acid, which Gen200 Control contains.
